Welcome to the Nosbonsing Curling Club’s Daytime Curling League – where curling enthusiasts gather for friendly competition and socializing during the daylight hours. Our league offers a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for curlers of all ages and skill levels who prefer to enjoy the game during the daytime.
Whether you’re a retiree looking for a new hobby, a shift worker with a flexible schedule, or simply someone who loves the thrill of curling in the daytime, our league has something for you. Join us on the ice and experience the joy of curling while soaking in the natural light and fresh air of the day.
Our Daytime Curling League features a variety of formats and playing options to suit the preferences of our members. Curlers come out to socialize and improve their curling game with friendly competition. There are no set teams. Individuals show up to play during their allotted time and are randomly placed on a team for that day. This gives our daytime members the opportunity to play with multiple curlers in our community. Twice a year we host fun bonspiels so that all daytime members can get better acquainted. Plus, with flexible scheduling and ample opportunities for socializing, our league provides the perfect balance of competition and camaraderie.
Whether you’re a seasoned curler or brand new to the sport, our league welcomes players of all skill levels. Our experienced volunteers and coaches are on hand to provide guidance, instruction, and support to help you improve your game and have fun on the ice.
But it’s not just about the curling – our league also offers plenty of opportunities for socializing and building friendships off the ice. Whether it’s enjoying a cup of coffee and a chat in the clubhouse between games or gathering for a post-game lunch at a local restaurant, our league fosters a sense of community and belonging among its members.
Daytime curling is scheduled for Tuesday’s. Curlers choose their preferred time of 10:00 am or 12:00 pm and play at the same time each week. With increased interest, we recently expanded to include Thursday’s at 10:00 am, for members looking to curl more than once a week.
There are full and half season memberships to accommodate snowbirds.
